Ahoy, mateys! Are you ready for a trip you will never forget? The Isar is one of the last wild rivers in Germany, to be allowed to raft here is something very special.

The meeting point for your Isar Rafting Bavaria is at our camp in Lenggries. From there we walk together in full gear (with wetsuit, life jacket, helmet and paddle) to the entry point on the Isar, which is only a two-minute walk away. Once at the river, you will be familiarized with the safety issues, the boat and the technique of rafting on the Isar.

Then it goes already into the water. The calm initial passage invites you to take a swim break again and again. Too boring? Just wait and see! Because the "small Isar cataract", affectionately called "Isarburg" by us, lurks for adrenaline hungry people: A passage with white water level 3, which will really shake you up. Here the command is: Everyone paddles along! Before the trip you have the possibility to inspect the place, so that you can decide whether you want to go through the passage or rather avoid it. If you get carried away by this special fun, you can also paddle the Isar cataract more often.

The tour continues along the foothills of the Alps through a beautiful meadow landscape to the end point of the tour in Bad Tölz. Afterwards, we will organize the ride back to the camp either by taxi or bus. Isar Rafting Bavaria is suitable for everyone who wants to spend a fun summer day on an idyllic section of the Isar.
Contact us and we will plan an unforgettable trip with you on one of the last wild rivers in Germany!

We had 3 great hours on the Isar although the weather was pretty lousy towards the end. There were some very sweeping rapids that was just right for us as a family. (For advanced rafters it should be but also more.) And there were some sections on which we could swim beautifully with the current. The booking was very easy and with Emi we had an extraordinarily friendly and competent guide in the boat.

My friend and I have now been on the road for the second time with the sports pirates and once again absolutely thrilled. On site, a great team with very friendly tour guides who absolutely conscientiously ensure that every sport level on the tour gets its money's worth. We were this time in the inflatable canoes on the road and had the choice of whether with a guide or alone in the boat to raft. The tour was extensive with countless swim stops at the most beautiful spots of the Isar and some rafting parts - but everything on a voluntary basis so that no one has to do more than he likes. All in all, a wonderful highlight of our summer - definitely back soon!
