Canyons are undoubtedly among the most beautiful landscapes in the world!
But they also have their downsides: because they have narrow sections, safety in the canyon is highly dependent on the water level and its influencing factors. Rainfall, meltwater, weir openings, etc.

Safety is the top priority. Sometimes it’s only predictable at very short notice (1 to 2 days) before the tour whether conditions are suitable. As soon as we’re sure whether the tour can take place (or not), we’ll let you know!

No, tickets and Gift cards remain valid. In case of cancellations, an alternative date will be arranged.

We provide:

• 7mm wetsuit
• Climbing harness with self-belay
• Helmet
• Neoprene socks

What do I need to bring?

• Swimsuit, trunks, or bikini
• Towel
• 2 pairs of shoes: 1 pair of sturdy shoes for the tour, preferably ankle-high, that can get wet (e.g. hiking boots) and 1 pair of shoes for afterwards
• Optional: functional shirt to wear under the wetsuit (no cotton)

(We only have a limited number of shoes for rent)

The meeting point is our camp in Lenggries. That’s where you’ll be welcomed receive your equipment.
The entry point for the Canyoning Bavaria tour is in Austria and can be reached by car in 20 minutes.
You’ll still need to do this drive in your own car.

If you’re arriving by public transport, let us know in good time before the tour so we can organize a carpool or taxis for you at your own expense.

Basic swimming skills are required to take part in this activity.
Otherwise, the tour is suitable for complete beginners

If you’re afraid of heights but want to tackle your fear with a calm head, you’re very welcome on this tour.
If you’re afraid of heights and can’t control yourself due to panic, you’d better not take part.

All spots over 1.5 m can either be bypassed or abseiled.

After the experience in the gorge, we’ll drive back to our camp together. There, the equipment is washed and sorted.

2 cold water showers are available.

Everything is locked away in your own car or at our camp.

Yes, in Lenggries there are rustic and traditional inns, beer gardens, and restaurants. In good weather, the Dorfschenke, which is within walking distance, is highly recommended.
You are also welcome to enjoy a cool beer at our camp.
