Tour

Time for a change of perspective! Experience the river Isar in a whole new way on a canoe tour thanks to the special seating position and manoeuvrability of the boat.

We meet at the Sport-Piraten camp in Lenggries. In our Isar Action outfit, i.e. with wetsuit, life jacket and helmet, we will walk together a few metres to the entrance on the Isar. There you make yourselves comfortable in the special seating position in the inflatable canoe. After a short introduction to the paddling technique, you will set off on the 12 km long stretch of river through the beautiful foothills of the Alps.

One may sit in front, one may give the commands - but both should paddle along vigorously. In this way, two or three of you will steer the maneuverable inflatable canoe along the idyllic section of the Isar from Lenggries to Bad Tölz.
Surprised at how agile the narrow canoe is in the water? Thanks to the life jackets, you can get cocky and try out turns with the boat or start short races against the other inflatable canoes. The splashing water at the exciting places of this section of the Isar is a good way to cool down on hot summer days.

Along the way, you can expect magnificent views of the surrounding nature. After the tour, we will shuttle you back to the camp by bus or taxi to Lenggries .

Contact us and we will plan an unforgettable trip together with you on one of the last wild rivers in Germany!

We had a fantastic canoe trip on the Isar with Sport Piraten! Thanks to Anton, the trip was a complete success—he had lots of helpful tips and recommendations, was very engaged at all times, had a good eye for situations, and kept us motivated. The time flew by and we felt completely at ease.
My children were also thrilled – I'll spare you their verdict here, because "heating the Isar to 21°" would probably be neither environmentally friendly nor economical 😉. The fact is: they thought it was really great!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to take many photos – a clear reason to come back again. Everyone in the team was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much for this great experience, we will definitely be back!
