When the sun disappears on the wintry horizon, it's time for us to set off on the snowshoe tour Night Sledding: Under a starry sky, we make our way through the nocturnal winter landscape on crunching snow in the glow of headlamps. Do you want to experience your surroundings from a completely new perspective? Then this very special tour is just right for you!
After a short safety briefing by one of our experienced guides, we head off in small groups through the silence of the night. The trail leads through deeply snow-covered forests and over gentle hills. The play of light and shadow makes the bizarre shapes into which the wind has piled the snow appear even more impressive. In this atmosphere, everyday life is quickly forgotten and makes way for a great experience of nature.
The Spitzingsee region offers an ideal location for sustainable winter experiences thanks to its guaranteed snow, beautiful landscape and proximity to Munich. Contact us and we will plan an unforgettable excursion into the wintry night together with you! Once you arrive at the top, a rustic mountain hut awaits you with a flickering fireplace, hearty food and hot mulled wine.
After a stay in the hut, it's back into the night under the stars to speed down to the valley on the Zipflbob. In the bright light of the headlamp and the protection of the ski goggles, the tour continues in fast descents and hairpin bends back to the meeting point.

I have already made the second time the snowshoe night tour with tobogganing and it was again this year a super experience.
The guides are always really nice and you have a lot of fun. We have also booked this year a private tour (possible from 6 people). Was again a real fun.

Unfortunately, our tour started over 1 hour later than planned. We learned this only when we were already at the agreed meeting point. It was probably so that a day tour was already taking place and this was delayed because too much snow was on the way. Therefore we had to switch to another way with our booked evening tour and night tobogganing. In addition the hut was closed and we had no possibility to stop for a break. So we decided at short notice for another tour which would have been possible without snowshoes. Arrived at the hut we found no free table and we split up. The guides were very nice and eager.
However, I asked myself the question: Couldn't we have found out in advance what the snow conditions were like? And whether the hut is open? Also, there would have been the possibility at the time of the change of plans to inquire at the new hut and to reserve a place for us in 1 1/2 hours.
Nevertheless we had our fun. It was starry and almost full moon. The troop was fun and we chirped 12 beers on the pasture.
I would have expected that on the hut perhaps a snack for us would be in it or a coupon for the next tour as an apology. Unfortunately, nothing came.
Therefore, only 2 stars.January 25, 2019Answers
