Tour

When the sun disappears on the winter horizon, it’s time for us to set off on our Snowshoe Tour Night Sledding: under a starry sky, we make our way through the nighttime winter landscape on crunching snow, guided by the glow of our headlamps. Want to experience the outdoors from a whole new perspective? Then this truly special tour is just right for you!

After a short safety briefing from one of our experienced guides, you’ll head out in small groups into the stillness of the night. The route takes you through deep-snowy forests and over gentle hills. The play of light and shadow makes the bizarre shapes the wind has piled the snow into look even more impressive. In this atmosphere, everyday life is quickly forgotten, making room for an amazing nature experience.

The Spitzingsee region is an ideal base for sustainable winter experiences thanks to reliable snow, beautiful scenery, and its proximity to Munich. Get in touch and we’ll plan an unforgettable trip into the winter night together with you! Once you reach the top, a cozy mountain hut awaits you with a crackling stove, hearty food, and hot mulled wine.

After your hut stop, you’ll head back out under the canopy of stars to race down into the valley on a Zipflbob. With your headlamp shining bright and your ski goggles for protection, you’ll speed back to the meeting point with fast descents and tight turns.

What is a snowshoe tour with night sledding?

On the snowshoe tour with night sledding, you hike up the mountain at dusk on snowshoes under the guidance of our guides, then sled back down into the valley in the dark—equipped with a Zipflbob and a headlamp. Our Snowshoe Tour Night Sledding lets you enjoy nature by day as well as the adventure and thrill of night sledding.

Can I make a non-binding reservation first?

Of course! Feel free to contact us, and we’ll take care of your non-binding reservation up to 2 weeks before the date.

When is a snowshoe tour canceled?

Lack of snow, blizzards, or high avalanche risk can be reasons for cancellation. We inform our participants as soon as we know if the tour can go ahead as planned. Usually, this is 4 days before the date.

Do tickets and Gift cards expire if dates are canceled?

No, tickets and Gift cards remain valid. In case of cancellations, an alternative date will be arranged.

Will I be in a group with my friends?

For bookings with different names, please let us know.
