Rock'n Roll on the Isar - Tubing on the Isar is the ultimate summer action! Rocking down the Isar in an inner tube. It's a blast and a lot of fun!
At the meeting point in the Sport-Piraten camp you will get the equipment and a detailed safety briefing by your guide.
And then the time has come: you can plunge into the waves. Equipped with helmet, neoprene, double paddle and life jacket, you swing onto your tube and let yourself drift through the waves while tubing on the Isar.
Show us if you can ride the tube. If it throws you off, no problem! Give it a quick shake and get back on the tube.
After the tour, we will take you back to the starting point by taxi or bus to Lenggries .Tubing on the Isar in Lenggries is the ultimate summer experience.

Participation requirements
- Minimum age 14 years
- Persons under 18 years of age only in the company of a parent or guardian or with a written declaration of consent. DOWNLOAD

- Swimming skills
- For safety reasons, persons under the influence of alcohol are not allowed to take part in the tour!
What you should bring
- closed shoes, which may get wet. No flip-flops or sandals
- Synthetic shirt (functional underwear) for under the neoprene
- Swimwear
- Spectacle strap if required

What do I need to bring ?
- Swimsuit or trunks or bikini
- Towel
- 2 pairs of shoes: 1 pair of sturdy shoes for the tour that can get wet (e.g. sneakers) / 1 pair of shoes for afterwards
Alternatively, you can rent neoprene shoes from us on site for the tour. - optional: functional shirt for under the neoprene (no cotton)
The train station Lenggries is a 2-minute walk from our camp. Parking is available in front of the Isarstadion opposite our camp.
No, tubing on the Isar can be done without any previous experience.
The shuttle from Bad-Tölz back to our camp (by taxi or by bus) will be organized by us and is included in the price.
2 cold water showers are available.
Valuables can be locked up before the tour.
Clothes, towels etc... can also be stored in our camp during the tour.
Yes, in Lenggries there are rustic and hearty inns, beer gardens and restaurants. When the weather is nice, the within walking distance Village tavern highly recommended.
In addition, you are welcome to enjoy a cold beer with us at the camp.

Super nice team and the location with the large garden in sunny weather super, different seating options and who wants to bring picnic.
Our guide Abu Dharr is super nice, funny, explains a lot, gives clear instructions and is concerned about safety.
For me personally, tubing was not the right thing, Abu Dharr then took me on the Canadian. So I could fully concentrate on the beautiful landscape and the rest of the group had fun with the tube.
Small stops to swim, float or slide rounded off the ride.

We had booked the tour as a family (2 adults, "children" 19 and 17) as an alternative to hiking. After not enough interested parties came together on our desired date, we were rebooked at another time.
E Mail came the day before. Bad, if one on vacation rarely reads e-mails.
We were ultimately six 2 Guids luxoriös.
The dressing went smoothly, then it went with the Tubs to the Isar. The things are not exactly light. After a detailed briefing, we were allowed to climb into our tubs one by one and off we went. One of the guids (Abu) paddled away in the canoe mostly in front and showed the optimal "channel". The second (Dominic not very talkative) secured behind, in case someone would have been bobbed out of the tube. Rapids were specially explained and there was the possibility to drift without tube in the Isar or to swim into the sweeping water.
All in all it was a wonderful afternoon and something different than the "normal" rafting.
The return transport took place with wet protection by ordered normal cab.July 26 2023 -
Was a super cool all around successful day, gladly again!!! 😀
