Event

“All aboard, you landlubbers!” Welcome to the figurehead of Sport-Piraten events: A lively Isar Team Rafting event awaits you on an idyllic stretch of the river. Refresh your team and experience an unforgettable day on one of Germany’s last wild rivers. We look forward to welcoming you aboard our boats!

At the start of the event, we meet at the Sport-Piraten Camp in Lenggries. After a welcome from our guides, you’ll be introduced to the day’s program and equipment (wetsuit, life vest, helmet, and paddle).

Afterward, we’ll walk together to the entry point on the nearby Isar. After a briefing on safety and environmental topics, as well as the correct paddling technique, we can get started!

Ahead of you lie approx. 12 kilometers of wet fun on crystal-clear water. Our guides guarantee team action here! Along the river, it will quickly become clear which rafting crew is the best coordinated. The rafting trip continues along the foothills of the Alps through a beautiful floodplain landscape to the endpoint in Bad Tölz.

We also use this event to draw your attention to the beauty and sensitivity of nature: You’ll learn what it means to act responsibly in this environment – because we cherish the Isar with all our hearts! Afterward, we’ll bring you back to our camp in Lenggries.

In a convivial atmosphere, you can review the eventful day in the evening over a delicious meal at one of the surrounding restaurants.

FAQ

What is Isar Team Rafting?

Our Isar Team Rafting is ideal for your company event! Isar Team Rafting uses an inflatable boat for up to 11 participants to navigate Germany’s last wild river (the Isar). We can have a maximum of 120 participants on the water at the same time. The Isar in Bavaria offers all participants ideal conditions for getting started in this action-packed and refreshing water sport. Each participant receives a wetsuit, helmet, safety vest, and paddle, sitting on the side tubes while the guide steers from the stern with a slightly larger paddle and gives timed commands.

When rafting, it’s important that everyone executes the guide’s commands simultaneously. Therefore, Isar Team Rafting is perfect for strengthening communication and cooperation to master the various tasks. Plus, the view of the beautiful Isar and the lush Alpine foothills will inspire you and your team.

Quick Info

The “Rafting Isar” team event is exclusive, meaning you’ll have the boat(s) to yourselves with your own guides. Our rafts have 10 or 12 seats, excluding the guide. Therefore, the boat price is calculated for 9 or 11 guests, even if the actual number of participants is lower.

If you are a small group and don’t need or want to book an exclusive boat, you can purchase individual tickets here and enjoy the trip with other guests.

Quick update

For group sizes of 12 to 15 participants, an additional boat will be used:

Rafting Bayern Lenggries
1 x raft (max. 11 participants + guide)
Kanutour Isar Lenggries - Bad Tölz
and 1 x canoe (2-4 participants)

During the trip, you’re welcome to switch between the raft and the canoe. Of course, we’ll stay together on the water 😉

For groups of 16 or more, two rafts will be used.
