Event

Are you looking for a fast-paced event for you and your team? Take up the challenge and show what you can do behind the wheel!

In this exciting event, each "racing team" builds its own racing car. Each team is provided with a kit and the necessary tools. Divide up, plan and draw, build and paint to finally get the horsepower of your aerodynamic beauties onto the road. Our experienced instructors will be there to help and advise you.

The highlight of the soapbox building team event is the final soapbox race. Before that, of course, the "TÜV acceptance" is on the programme. Special attention is paid to safety issues.

In addition to the fastest team, the design of the soapboxes, the team name, the team crest, the vehicle presentation and the outfit of the racing suit will be awarded prizes.

Creativity and teamwork are particularly in demand here! All this is presented before the race under the strict gaze of the opposing teams.

If you wish, we can also organise a professional moderator to motivate you during the soapbox building event and the final race. In case of bad weather, we will set up tents. We look forward to seeing you!

FAQ

What is soapbox building?

Our team event soapbox building is a classic among teambuilding measures. And rightly so, we say! The idea behind teambuilding measures is to take the employees of a team, a department or a company out of their usual working environment and their usual positions. This gives them the opportunity to get to know each other better and to work together under different conditions. Also at the team event soapbox building, strategies have to be developed together, tasks have to be distributed and problems have to be overcome in order to reach the common goal.

By working together to build a soapbox, employees* will communicate well, plan and make quick decisions together on how best to build the soapbox. Also when the soapbox is then taken to the course, a well-harmonized crew is required.
The soapbox building team event is the perfect event to spend quality time with colleagues* in a relaxed, fun and holiday-like atmosphere.

Does the soapbox building team event take place in all weathers?

The team event soapbox building can take place in any weather. We have tents on site in which the construction, planning and design can take place even in unsettled weather. In addition, each participant can get a rain poncho for the final race.

How big are the groups? What is the minimum number of participants?

The team event soapbox building can be carried out from 10 people. For larger teams, we split the participants into small groups of about 6 people. Each group builds its own car.

Is it dangerous to ride in the homemade soapboxes?

Each "racer" receives a helmet and is instructed in the technology and characteristics of the vehicle. Tricky bends are also secured with straw bales.

What is part of the equipment and what do I have to bring myself?

Provided by us:

  • Soapbox kit
  • Tool
  • Creative supplies (adhesive foils, racing suits, paints, brushes)
  • Event equipment (tents, tables, benches)
  • Helmets for the racers
  • Rain ponchos for rainy weather

What do we need to bring with us ?

  • Outdoor clothing suitable for the weather
  • comfortable shoes
  • Suntan lotion, sunglasses, glasses strap
Public access and parking

A public journey is not so easily possible. However, we will gladly organize a bus transfer from the desired location to the meeting point. There are also parking facilities on site.

Do we need any prior knowledge?

No, the soapbox building team event can be done without any previous experience.

Are there any places to stop after the soapbox building team event?

Yes, if required, the Jaudenstadl will be happy to treat us to a delicious BBQ or classic dinner.
