Tour

The winter sports region at Spitzingsee offers ideal conditions for a wonderful snowshoe hike for the whole family. Away from the pistes and the hustle and bustle of ski tourism, there are numerous opportunities for a snowshoe hike along streams, forests and alpine landscapes.

At the meeting point of our tour, one of our experienced guides will be waiting to give you an introduction to the correct walking technique of the snowshoes and how to use the poles.

Together we trudge through easy terrain surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Along the route, small breaks can be taken again and again with consideration for each individual in the group. There is also the possibility to stop at a cosy mountain hut, which offers many different dishes from the region.

Strengthened and warmed up, we start the second part of the tour and slowly walk back towards the meeting point along forests and open spaces.

But before the snowshoe hike for families ends, a little challenge awaits the younger and older guests: a treasure hunt with an avalanche transceiver. All participants learn how to use the avalanche transceiver in a playful way. Will you manage to retrieve the buried treasure? Of course, our experienced guide will help you until the treasure is found under the snow cover.

Experience an unforgettable snowshoe hike with your family!
