Tour

The winter sports region at Spitzingsee offers ideal conditions for a beautiful snowshoe hike for the whole family. Away from the slopes and the hustle and bustle of ski tourism, there are numerous opportunities for a snowshoe hike along streams, forests, and alpine meadows.

At the meeting point of our tour, one of our experienced guides will meet you and give you an introduction to the proper walking technique with snowshoes and how to use the poles.

Together we trudge through easy terrain, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Along the route, we can take short breaks with consideration for everyone in the group. There’s also the option to stop at a cozy mountain hut that offers many different regional dishes.

Refreshed and warmed up, we start the second part of the tour and slowly head back toward the meeting point along forests and open areas.

But before the family snowshoe hike ends, a small challenge awaits younger and older guests: a treasure hunt with an avalanche transceiver (LVS device). All participants will learn how to use the LVS device in a playful way. Can you recover the buried treasure? Of course, our experienced guide will help you until the treasure is found under the snow cover.

Experience an unforgettable snowshoe hike with your family!
Contact us and we’ll create a wonderful outing for the whole family together with you. Refreshed and warmed up, we start the second part of the tour and slowly head back toward the meeting point along forests and open areas.
